'Happy Days' Craft Classes
This is a list of provisional craft classes currently scheduled from January 2010, with more dates continuously being added. Please remember that we are constantly updating our lists, repeating & adding more classes, so please check our list regularly for any changes and additional classes. In addition to this, please inform us of any particular courses you would like to take part in, and we will notify you of the next available date. For further information on any of the classes listed, please telephone or email us.
Workshops run from 10am til 4pm and cost only £20 per day. Our classes are small and friendly, with a maximum of 8 students per class (6 where a sewing machine is required.)

v Friday 28th May 2010 - 'Poppies in the Sunlight' (Brenda O'Carroll) **NEW** Create a stunning scene of poppies dancing in the sunlight, using a variety of techniques including free machine embroidery and bonding. once framed, this panel makes an ideal gift, or a beautiful picture for your home. Sample available to view in shop.
v Saturday 5th June 2010 - 'Freeform Crochet' (Karen Odinga) Create a unique textured panel suitable for a tiny bag or cushion front) with this freeform method of crochet. If you are new to crochet, you will learn the basic stiches and a good practise without worrying about shape. If you already know how to crochet, this is an opportunity to add texture in a creative way.

Create a special button for bags, clasps or anything you want to put a button on! vFriday 6th August 2010 - 'Colourful Landscapes' (Brenda O'Carroll) Dramatic painted sky, created with fabric paints, dark trees, fields and bright fabric applique. Sample available to view in shop.
vFriday 13th August 2010 - 'The Velvet Bag' (Brenda O'Carroll) Another opportunity to attend this popular workshop - Using the light and shade of a velvet material, design a bag with a modern twist. Sample avalible to view in shop.
v Friday 20th August 2010 - 'Rosie the Rag Doll' (Brenda O'Carroll) Delightful traditional soft toy doll dressed in the clothes of your choice. Pantaloons, petticoat, dress, apron and bonnet with matching shoes. Sample in shop. Pattern Provided.
As well as individual bookings we are able to accommodate private groups and are always happy to discuss requirements and available dates.
Our workshops are all currently priced at £ 20.00 per day and run from 10am - 4pm. Classes are filled on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, and in view of this, we must ask for your class fee upon booking to secure your place. Bookings can be made in person, by phone or by post (please enclose booking form). Please make cheques payable to ‘And Sew On Fabrics’. Unfortunately we are unable to refund class fees unless the class is cancelled by ourselves. Please note, upon booking, you will be provided with a list of requirements that you will need to bring with you to the class, unless otherwise specified.
